    Our elder/pastor, was ordained in 1984, has been the pastor of two churches  and was also on staff at Buffalo City Mission for twenty years.
    Brother Joe has made six trips to Poland, three trips to Ukraine and one trip to Romania serving as the main bible teacher at summer camps for young adults and working with local churches.
  At his former church he organized a multi-ethnic conference for three years utilizing pastors from seven different ethnic groups teaching on multi-ethnic issues confronting the church. He has also been a workshop teacher at the Multi-racial conference in 2000 at Crossroads Bible College in Indianapolis, Dr. Charles Ware-president and served on a panel discussion concerning these matters at the regional Conservative Baptist Association Northeast. He has written articles on these issues which were published in two Christian newspapers and are available on our website.  Articles
    He is one of the founding members of the Reformation Society of WNY which meets monthly at the Evangelical Church of Fairport.
  Brother Joe has  participated in two international think tanks on New Covenant Theology and  participated in a conference in Australia in 2007.  Conference Page

  Brother Joe  and his wife Deborah taught a pastors and wives conference and did evangelistic work in the Philippines in April 2009  Conference page
 
    Joe returned to the Philippines in September 2010.

OUR ELDERS
Brother Joe Krygier enjoys hiking, kayaking, video editing, photography, composing and writing. He plays the guitar, recorder, autoharp, tin whistle and the melodica and is attempting to learn the panpipes.
He is currently studying classical guitar and writing a play and co-authoring a book about a Holocaust survivor.
 
Brother Joe also has written a number of songs/hymns and is working to record them for his friends. Before his conversion he spent some years as a professional actor and performed in plays including The Lion in Winter (Richard), Henry IV Part One, (Hotspur), The Importance of Being Earnest (Algernon), Col. David Williamson (Trumpet in the Land), Snout in a Midsummer’s Night Dream, Avram and a bottle dancer in Fiddler On The Roof and  Bellamy in The Fantastiks.
 
 
He was called to salvation by God's grace in 1976 while performing as Pontius Pilate in the Smokey Mountain Passion Play.
