OUR ELDERS
Brother Joe Krygier enjoys hiking, kayaking, video editing, photography, composing and writing. He plays the guitar, recorder, autoharp, tin whistle and the melodica and is attempting to learn the panpipes.
He is currently studying classical guitar and writing a play and co-authoring a book about a Holocaust survivor.
Brother Joe also has written a number of songs/hymns and is working to record them for his friends. Before his conversion he spent some years as a professional actor and performed in plays including The Lion in Winter (Richard), Henry IV Part One, (Hotspur), The Importance of Being Earnest (Algernon), Col. David Williamson (Trumpet in the Land), Snout in a Midsummer’s Night Dream, Avram and a bottle dancer in Fiddler On The Roof and Bellamy in The Fantastiks.
He was called to salvation by God's grace in 1976 while performing as Pontius Pilate in the Smokey Mountain Passion Play.
